Some island-dwellers can be found in warmer climates, but most—including emperor , adélie , chinstrap , and gentoo penguins—reside in and around icy Antarctica. A thick layer of blubber and tightly-packed, oily feathers are ideal for colder temperatures. The 18 different species of penguins can widely vary in shape and size but all have black bodies and white bellies. This protective counter shading allows them to hide from predators like leopard seals and orcas while they swim. Twelve visual artists give us a peek of their being- their minds and feelings, their aches and pains, their happiness and contentment, wishes and longings. FilArts gallery brings Subliminal Narratives , gathering of top and emerging Filipino visual artists as they present artworks as they stimulate thwir conscious minds.  Headed by FilArts President Roy Espinosa together with some of the country's finest visual artists Frank Caña , Pancho Piano , Celso Pepito , Roland Rosacay , Fe Madrid , Julius Clar, Al Vargas, Roy Ama, Ingrid Aimee Peñaflor , Rowel Macapagong , RV Operio, Marissa Odiaman. The show have its artist reception on Jan 16, 2023 at 4pm at the FilArts Gallery in Robinsons Place,  Novaliches Quezon City .  The exhibit will run until Feb 28, 2023.

Hiniusang Pagtuo (Shared Faith) is an exhibit of paintings and icons of the Child Jesus to co-celebrate the Sinulog Festival 2023. Opening on January 13, 4pm at the lobby of Seda Hotel , Ayala Center Cebu, Cebu Business Park. The exhibiting artists are Jun Impas , Jogen Lim, Celso Pepito and Antonio Vidal .  The exhibiting icon owners are Mrs. Armida Caguitla, Mrs. Jane Panganiban, Mrs. Fe Pepito , and Mr. Bernard Restificar. Catch the One Man Show Exhibit of Cesar Cabase Castillo , Bulawanong Pagtuo , (Golden Faith), his  humble way of offering, honoring and thanking the Child Jesus during the Sinulog festival in Cebu .  Opening and blessing on Jan 7 at 3pm at the Golden Prince Hotel and Suites lobby. In celebration with the Sinulog Festival and to embark on an active role  in promoting the arts, the Cebu Artist Incorporated will be having its 2nd exhibit for 2023- Faith Hope and Charity on January 10 to  February 8, 2023 at the 3rd floor mountain wing of the SM Seaside Cebu .
